Hey everyone! Goodness, I can't believe it's May already, this year's flying right on by, it seems.
On a personal note, I haven't been up to a whole lot, however I've begun delving into the world of RGB-modding for retro consoles, which is the best option if you wish to get the best video possible out of your beloved consoles: I attempted the mod with very basic soldering skills and messed up, now the video on my SNES Mini doesn't output properly with composite (shows up in red now) and RGB doesn't work at all, unless you call black and very dark-green outlines (almost too dark to even see) "working." So, I need to get a new SNES Mini, RGB amp and attempt once again. Should be better this time around, since I know what I'll be doing better.
I will be opening up a service for this, among other console and handheld mods (frontlighting for GB/GBC/GBA for example), I'm also fairly experienced in changing dead save batteries as I've had to do this a couple of times in the past for myself. You'll be able to send your own console to me for cheaper and I'll do all of the modifications for you, and it all comes with a free cleaning whether it's a save battery repair and your game needs some TLC, or it's your console, which'll still get a free cleaning. Or you can buy a pre-modded console from me, once I start getting better and confident in my skill and think my work could survive the shipping!
That aside, not much else has been going on for me! Just preparing for summer which, as I've said before, is my personal favorite season, especially for RPGs. It seems we're going to have an early summer, it's already getting decently hot during the days.
Well, I hope you all are having lovely weather as well lately and let's keep high faith that it remains (or gets better, if your weather hasn't been so pleasant). Take care everyone, have a very safe week!

Holidays 2019
Hey everyone, brief update here but I just wanted to wish everybody a very happy holidays, wherever you live! May your day be filled with joy and the rest of the year finished with epic adventure. ♥
This NPC Won't Move So I Can Leave Town!
Greetings, adventurers! It's been such a long time since I posted a journal in here, and I apologize for that. I moved across the US in late 2017 and things got utterly crazy immediately after, but after long, things have finally slowed down a bit and I can focus more on other matters.
As you've probably noticed from the occasional submissions we are still, indeed, active and I'm happy to say that there's absolutely no end in sight for our humble shrine! In fact, I intend on cleaning up some things, adding onto the names of existing folders (Dragon Quest I-VI, Final Fantasy I-VI, for example) and possibly adding some new folders in hopes of
400 members!
Hey everybody, again another self-explanatory title: we've just reached 400 members! I know it says 401 at the top but I don't count myself in that. =p
Thank you for all of your support and I look forward to many more years of this!
Ys 30th Anniversary
Hey everybody! The title is pretty self-explanatory, Ys was released for the PC-88 30 years ago this very day. Be sure to celebrate and run through it at some point, if you have access to the game (which really isn't that hard to get, after all... ;p)
Happy 30th, Ys! And a huge thank you to Falcom for bringing this wonderful game to life.
